New meds? Acupuncture?

Anyone have any personal experience using either Metformin or Losarten following lysis surgery? If yes, did it seem to help and do you remember approximate dosages?

Also, has anyone tried peri-operative acupuncture? TIA

Hey, new to the page so just seeing this. I had a LOA for my knee and after reviewing the literature I did decide to take losartan. There isn't much out there specific for arthrofibrosis but from an inflammation perspective it makes sense and many orthopedic surgeons are using it (mostly post op hips). Almost positive my dose was 12.5mg daily; initially the plan was just 6 weeks but I continued for 12 weeks (no great reason other than my complete terror that this would happen again and there seemed to be no downside). I hope this is still helpful even so long after your post.
