Call for Advisory Panel - Rheumatologist

The International Arthrofibrosis Association (IAA) is seeking a qualified and dedicated rheumatologist to join our advisory panel. As a non-profit organization committed to advancing research, education, and support for individuals affected by arthrofibrosis, we recognize the pivotal role that rheumatologists play in enhancing our understanding and treatment of this condition.

About the International Arthrofibrosis Association (IAA)

The IAA is devoted to fostering a global community focused on promoting better understanding and outcomes for individuals grappling with arthrofibrosis. By providing scientifically referenced information, advocating for research and education, and cultivating a supportive network, we aim to improve the lives of those impacted by this condition.

Role and Responsibilities

As a member of our advisory panel, you will contribute your expertise in the following key areas:

  • Advise the IAA Committee on relevant tests for autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions known to affect musculoskeletal health.

  • Providing insights into the interpretation of cytokine panel results from a rheumatologic perspective, including well-known inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin 1 (IL-1), interleukin 6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), and transforming growth factor β (TGF-β).

  • Pointing the IAA Committee to the relevant literature, including recent research and best practices in rheumatology.
     

Voluntary Commitment

Please note that the role of advisory panel member with the IAA is voluntary and unpaid. However, your contributions will be invaluable in shaping the direction of our organization and improving outcomes for individuals affected by arthrofibrosis. Advisory panel members are acknowledged on the IAA website as esteemed contributors.
