In functional medicine Hydrodissection injection is used in cases of fat pad impingement with fibrosis. The Hydrodissection injection consists of water injected in the area to separate scar tissue from nerves and tendons the scar tissue is stuck to. emu oil topically on fat pad successfully stopped redness, inflammation, brought down swelling .But emu oil is supposed to promote collagen production in skin. so will emu oil promote arthrofibrosis? the inflammation drives arthrofibrosis,so it's important to stop it and emu oil worked miracles that way...but the advertisements for emu oil talk about it promoting collagen production in skin. So is it best to stop emu oil even tho inflammation returns?
