Just wondering: is there any way to determine whether the AF is still active? Research seems to suggest that surgical outcomes are better for residual AF compared to still active AF. Hi Kayley, Thank you very much for your response, that is very helpful and affirming my current feeling. I am just wondering: Is there any particular risk from waiting "too long"? Just a bit wary that if I continue conservativetly, I am soon approaching 1 year post surgery without the ability to fully straighten/bending the leg and afraid whether this could lead to any other disabling functional issues that could not be solved conservatively or even surgically at some point. And secondly, on gentle stretching: wouldn't there be a risk of "overdoing" and, thus, increasing inflammation again by these stretching exercises? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get my active life back and approach this disease in the best possible way. Thank you so much for the help! Best, Marco
