About
Hi, I’m Rick, and I’ve been living with arthrofibrosis for over 17 years following a total knee replacement. Despite multiple surgeries—including open and arthroscopic procedures and several lysis of adhesions—scar tissue continues to return, leaving me with a severely limited range of motion. My flexion is stuck at around 90–91 degrees, and my extension is limited to -14 degrees.
Years of compensation have also led to moderate to severe osteoarthritis and a Baker’s cyst in my other knee, adding even more complexity to daily life.
I’m really excited to be part of this group and connect with others who understand the physical and emotional challenges of living with Arthrofibrosis. I'm here to learn from your experiences, share my own, and explore the best approaches for managing this life-altering condition.
Looking forward to the conversations ahead.
