Share Your Story
Before September 9, send us your written story about your experience with arthrofibrosis. It can be as long or short as you wish. Email your submissions to iaa.committee@arthrofibrosis.info. While we can't guarantee that your story will be published, as we need to make a selection, it might be shared on social media or featured in a special edition on our website.
Consider including the following points in your story:
Initial Experience: What was your initial surgery or injury that led to your arthrofibrosis?
Post-Injury Struggles: What happened in the months following your surgery or injury? How did you struggle during this time?
Support Systems: Did you receive adequate support from healthcare professionals, family, or friends during your recovery? If not, what was lacking?
Early Interventions: What do you think would have helped you during the early stages of your recovery?
Treatment Satisfaction: Have you been able to find a treatment plan or medical professional that you are happy with? How has this impacted your recovery?
Daily Challenges: What are your daily struggles living with arthrofibrosis? How does it affect your day-to-day life?
Coping Mechanisms: How are you coping with arthrofibrosis? What strategies or practices have you found helpful in managing your condition?
Raising Awareness: What message would you like to share with the broader community about arthrofibrosis?
